AN UNCOMMON PLACE

Today the Great Backyard Bird Count sponsored by Cornell University Lab of Ornithology begins. Thi is the list of birds found in my area of the Mid-Atlantic region. The richness of the list astonishes me since my community does absolutely nothing to protect wildlife.  You can get your own list at Cornell Ornithology Lab Fifteen minutes of bird watching is all you need to do though you may choose to  to spend more time helping cataloge winged visitors to your neighbourhood. It is a good cause.
